Memories By Mere Photography

Looking for a fantastic photographer in Virginia?  Well.....I've found one and she's absolutely fabulous! I thought I'd share my experience and brag on Memories By Mere, a fellow military spouse-owned business located in Hampton Roads.

I had been putting off for months getting a professional photo taken of myself for my blog and realized that I can not put this off any longer.  I was lucky enough to meet Meredith.  I was impressed from the first moment I spoke with her and realized that this isn't just a pick an outfit, do the hair and make-up, and smile kind of experience.  She spent a good 45 minutes talking with me on the phone giving me guidance on what types of photos, location, ect would be best for my blog given the information I had told her. 

She got a sense of my personality and together we came up with a plan of attack for the photo session.  She told me things that I never would have thought twice about.  For example, help with picking out the outfit, colors to think about, getting hair and make-up done professionally, nails done in case they show in the picture, and so on.  It actually sounded like a day of pampering for myself which was quite exciting since it rarely happens.  I never would have thought of these things and I really appreciated her knowledge and professionalism in setting me up for a great experience.

We had a blast during the photo session.  She could sense my personality and what types of photos would best show it off.  She knew how to position my body, hands, and face to get the best shots possible.  Meredith also is a military spouse and she gets military life and the importance of a picture.  I think this is very important when choosing your photographer.  Below is more information about Meredith and what she has to offer:
