McDonald's of Hampton Roads and Northeast North Carolina

4 May 2015 by

Hampton Roads, VA – May 4, 2014 For the entire month of May, McDonald’s of Hampton Roads and Northeast North Carolina will donate a portion of all sales of the Quarter Pounder with Cheese and the all new Artisan Chicken Sandwich Extra Value Meals to the Virginia Wounded Warrior Program (VWWP). The Virginia Wounded Warrior Program is a legislatively mandated program dedicated to helping Virginia veterans of all branches cope with the challenges posed from stress-related injury or traumatic brain injury.

Hampton Roads and Northeast North Carolina McDonald’s® restaurants are proud supports of the United States Armed Forces. In 2014, local McDonald’s restaurants ran a similar fundraiser for the Virginia Wounded Warrior program resulting in $35,096.60 being donated to local veterans living, and working, in our community.

Local residents are encouraged to visit their area McDonald’s® again this year to share their support by purchasing Quarter Pounder with Cheese and Artisan Chicken Sandwich Extra Value Meals. While you’ll recognize the chicken breast filet, parsley, garlic powder and onion powder, you won’t miss what we've kept out: preservatives and artificial flavors. This 100% grilled chicken breast filet seasoned to perfection offers crisp leaf lettuce, fresh tomato, and a vinaigrette dressing. All atop our delectable artisan roll.
