Honoring Service Program Expands with Year-round Military Admissions Savings Plus A Military March Honoring America’s Veterans

Colonial Williamsburg has a Long History of Supporting the Military Community. Colonial Williamsburg has Several Military Appreciation Offers along with their Veterans Day Offer.

VETERANS DAY MILITARY APPRECIATION OFFER:

Military families can receive a FREE Colonial Williamsburg admission ticket, Friday, November 11 through Monday, November 14 during our Honoring Service to America weekend.

VETERANS DAY CELEBRATION:

Join us on Veterans Day as we honor those who serve in the military. An afternoon march and ceremony honoring America's veterans highlights the day. The event features the Colonial Williamsburg Fifes and Drums, Military Programs Staff, and members of Williamsburg community veterans groups. All armed forces veterans are welcome and encouraged to participate. A commemorative service behind the Courthouse will be held after the march.

As a tribute to the men and women in the U.S. armed forces, Colonial Williamsburg is offering exclusive discounts to military guests and their families. Explore the Revolutionary City and enjoy special patriotic programming
in honor of our nation's armed forces.

YEAR ROUND MILITARY DISCOUNTS

Active duty receive one complimentary admission ticket per year (and as many as three direct dependents).

Retired military and Veterans qualify for 50% discount on Single-day tickets or on Annual Passes for up to five direct dependents.

LIBERTY LOUNGE
Enjoy a special respite place in the Historic Area dedicated to active duty, veteran, and retired military and their families.Located in the Margaret Hunter Workshop just off Duke of Gloucester Street, the Liberty Lounge offers amenities for relaxation including hot and cold beverages, wireless Internet access and a children’s area.

Special Conditions Veterans Day

* Free admission tickets are available for pickup between November 11 - November 14, 2016. Guests must visit a Colonial Williamsburg on-site ticket sales location to receive their free admission ticket. Locations include the Colonial Williamsburg Regional Visitor Center, the Lumber House, and William Pitt Store Ticket Offices in the Revolutionary City, and the ticket window in Merchants Square. All guests in party must be present to receive their free admission ticket. Only one per person.

Free “Honoring Service to America” tickets will be provided to dependents of currently deployed troops with appropriate identification, the service member need not be present. Military veterans who separated before retirement can bring a copy of their honorable discharge paperwork, DD Form 214, as identification of service.
