On Veterans Day, Jefferson Lines Offers Free Bus Travel on any Jefferson Lines Schedules for Active Duty Military & Veterans

Jefferson Lines is proud to announce free bus travel on any Jefferson Lines schedules to all active military members and veterans in honor of Veterans Day on November 11, 2017.  Jefferson Lines is proud to support those who have served and are currently serving in all military branches:

  • Army, Army Reserve, Army National Guard
  • Marine Corps, Marine Corps Reserve
  • Navy, Navy Reserve
  • Air Force, Air Force Reserve, Air National Guard
  • Coast Guard, Coast Guard Reserve


Veterans and active military members must obtain tickets in person at a Jefferson Lines corporate location by showing their DD 214 Form/appropriate military ID and a personal ID, such as a driver’s license.

Corporate locations include:

  • Duluth, MN
  • St. Paul, MN
  • Billings, MT
  • Fargo, ND
  • Rapid City, SD
  • Sioux Falls, SD
  • Mason City, IA
  • Fort Smith, AR

Veterans and active military members can attain these free tickets anytime between November 3-11, 2017. Free tickets are available for travel departing on November 11th through November 21st for both one-way and round-trip tickets. Veterans and active military members are welcome to return on a different date for round-trip tickets anytime through December 31, 2017.


This promotion is limited to Jefferson Lines schedules only. There is no rain check for this promotion and it is subject to seating availability. Limit one (1) ticket (one-way or round-trip) request per Veteran. All tickets are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Trip must begin on November 11th through November 21st. Return trip must occur before or on December 31st. Veterans and active military members must have their DD 214 Form/military ID and personal ID (such as a drivers license) readily available if asked for verification during travel.
