Military Exchange Shoppers In The Washington D.C. and Surrounding Areas Can Double Back-to-School Savings During Tax-Free Weekends

It's back-to-school time. Students in the Metro D.C. area to include Virginia and Maryland report back to class between August 22 and September 3, 2019.
The Army & Air Force Exchange services announced that they will offer a percentage off (equivalent local tax rate) during the tax-free weekends. That's right! Additional savings from the exchange. Remember, every day is a tax-free day at your military exchange.
Virginia's tax-free weekend is from August 2 to August 4. Save on clothing and back-to-school supplies. Energy star products, hurricane preparedness items, and generators are also items included on the list of items for Virginia's tax-free weekend.
Maryland's tax-free week is from August 11 to August 17. Clothing and footwear are on the list of items to save on.
