The Best Realtors in Hampton Roads for Military Families

Pcsing to Hampton Roads and looking for a realtor? 

Buying or selling your home is one of the biggest decisions you will make therefore finding the right realtor is the first step to success.  With the influx of realtors it can often be overwhelming to know who will be the right fit for you.  

We are hoping that this resource can help!  We have narrowed down the field of realtors by creating this list of recommended realtors in Hampton Roads.  These realtors have been recommended in our MilitaryBridge Hampton Roads Facebook Group, you should join if you haven't already :). 

We asked our group of military members, spouses, veterans and retired folks to share their favorite realtor if they had one.  Below is the list of those recommended.  

Please feel free to ask any questions in the comments below or in our Facebook group if are you moving to the area.  We are all in this military life together and here to help!

Many of the realtors are military or veterans themselves so they really understand the military way of life and what is important in buying and selling your home.  We also have some realtors that participate in military cash back programs, be sure to ask. 

Last, some of the following realtors have taken additional training to become a Military Relocation Specialist.  Take time to read their biography's, check out their website and social channels.  Or, schedule a phone consultation to see if they are a fit.  

Tips to consider before we dive into our list of recommended Hampton Roads Realtors:

• Consider real estate agents who are affiliated with the military whether they are spouses, veterans, or have a family member in the military.  They understand military life first hand and may be able to walk you through the process a little more easily.  
• Consider a real estate agent that is a Military Relocation Specialist.  This is a Professional (MRP) certification for real estate professionals who want to work with current and former military service members.
• Consider a real estate agent with tenure.  This will be someone who has been in the industry for a long time and has a good understanding of Hampton Roads and market trends over the years.  This person will also have a lot of experience in the process ensuring it goes as smooth as possible.
• Many real estate firms offer cash back incentives for military members.  If you have interest in adding this into your equation of finding the perfect realtor be sure to ask if they have a Military Incentives Program offering cash back.  We did not list this offering below unless they specifically mentioned it therefore it's best to ask.
• Consider this list of recommended realtors below.  This is a list of some of the best realtors in the Hampton Roads area.  They have been recommended in our local facebook group but they also have appeared in several other local facebook groups when people are looking for realtor suggestions.
• If you plan on using a VA loan consider an agent that specializes in VA loans. 
• Consider interviewing a couple different realtors to see who you feel most comfortable with.  This is one of the biggest investments you will make.
