Virginia Beach Parks and Recreation Honors the Military in May
(Virginia Beach, VA) – Celebrate May as National Military Appreciation Month with Virginia Beach Parks and Recreation! Individuals with a military ID, including active duty personnel, retirees and dependents, will enjoy special offers:
- Thank You Thursdays: Free admission to all Virginia Beach Recreation Centers eachThursday in May;
- Free Fishin’ Fridays: Free admission to the Little Island Fishing Pier every Friday in May; and
- Free kayak/canoe rentals for up to 2 hours at Munden Point Park during the entire month of May (subject to equipment availability; first come, first served);
