Participating Abuelo's Mexican Restaurant is Saluting Military Members this Veterans Day with a Discount & Fundraiser for Honor Flight

VETERANS DAY at ABUELO'S MEXICAN RESTAURANT

Queso for Heroes fundraiser for Honor Flight – Abuelo’s will donate $1 to Honor Flight for each Chile con Queso appetizer that is sold, Thursday, November 7 through Monday, November 11.

MILITARY DISCOUNT

Virginia and Kentucky stores will offer veterans and active duty military a 20% discount on their entire check all day on Monday, November 11. Valid Military ID required. Discount applied to food purchases only. Does not include tax, gratuity or alcohol.

Honor Flight Network information:

The mission of the Honor Flight Network is to transport America’s veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials dedicated to honoring those who have served and sacrificed for our country. Our motto is “one more tour, with honor”.

The Honor Flight Network is a national network comprised of independent Hubs working together in furtherance of the Honor Flight mission. In furtherance of this common goal, we have the opportunity to show our nation’s veterans the appreciation and honor they deserve. Participation in an Honor Flight trip gives veterans the opportunity to share this momentous occasion with other comrades, to remember friends and comrades lost, and share their stories and experiences with other veterans.

The Honor Flight Network is currently taking veterans who served in WWII, the Korean War and Vietnam. In the future, we hope to expand our service to include veterans from more recent conflicts including Desert Storm, the Gulf War, Iraqi Freedom and Afghanistan.
