Company announces $50,000 contribution to leading military service nonprofit and discount to service members, veterans, and military families

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today, Blue Apron (NYSE: APRN) announced a national partnership with the United Service Organizations (USO) to support active duty service members, veterans, and military family members. As the first meal kit partner of the USO, Blue Apron will provide a product discount to military service members, veterans, and their families and make up to a $50,000 pledge to USO’s matching gift program to support USO services and operations, which include family meal programming, care packages, entertainment tours, and expeditionary support. To formally launch the partnership, the Blue Apron culinary team cooked alongside chefs from each branch of the military to prepare a multi-course dinner for service members and their families at the USO Warrior and Family Center at Bethesda on Monday, November 18, leading in to the USO of Metropolitan Washington-Baltimore’s annual Salute to Military Chefs dinner in Washington, D.C.
