Military members, don't miss the 2020 Waste Management Tournament in Phoenix, Arizona-- January 27, 2020-February 2, 2020
The Waste Management Phoenix Open has been touted as one of the liveliest and most popular events in the PGA. It is known for it's large and lively crowds, caddie races, and rock concerts. It's sort of known as a big party yet itss really a golf tournament. It's definitely on my bucket list of PGA tournaments to attend.
For 19 years, the tournament host, The Thunderbirds have been proud to show their appreciation of military service in offering free admission. The Thunderbirds are once again inviting Active Duty, Reserve, Guard, Retirees, Veterans and one accompanying guest free admission Wednesday-Sunday.
They also offer free admission for police officers, fire fighters and EMTs along with one guest.
In order to receive your FREE ADMISSION to the 2020 Waste Management Tournament you must:
1) Register via Sheer ID verification services at https://birdiesforthebrave2.sheerid.com/WMPhoenixOpen-2020/
2) Present your military ID at any ticket booth at the main tournament entrance. Tickets are limited to two per day.
3) Birdies for the Brave and the Waste Management Phoenix Open would like you to receive up to two (2) complimentary tickets for each day of the tournament, Wednesday - Sunday! General admission is free on Monday and Tuesday courtesy of Ford Free Days, and no voucher will be required for those days.

Don't miss the Birdies for the Brave Patriots' Outpost!
The Birdies for the Brave Patriots’ Outpost will be open Wednesday through Sunday during tournament week and available to all active duty, reserve, and retired U.S. military. The Outpost is located near the 18th tee offering military personnel (+ two guests) great food and drinks (complimentary) and watch PGA TOUR golf action in a relaxed setting.
In order for all of our military heroes to get the chance to experience the Birdies for the Brave Patriots Outpost, official military ID’s will be required to gain access, and the two-guest maximum guideline will be strictly enforced to help keep the crowds and wait times down.
2020 Waste Management Phoenix Open Tournament Details
The 2020 Waste Management Phoenix Open will be held at TPC Scottsdale January 27 – February 2, 2020. “The People’s Open” was recently named the Tournament of the Year by the PGA TOUR for 2019, an honor that has been awarded four times in the last six years (2014, 2015, 2018, 2019) to help the tournament gain legendary status for being one the most unique events in golf. The 2020 edition will mark the 85th playing of the event (one of the five oldest events on the PGA TOUR) and the 11th as the Waste Management Phoenix Open.
