Sittercity Premium Memberships for Military to be funded by DOD once again!

20 August 2020 by

Many of you may remember several years ago, the DOD funded memberships to Sittercity.  Unfortunately, that program was discontinued back in 2015.  However, we have some great news, it will be available once again!

The Sittercity military program offering a free membership to access their babysitters, nannies, pet sitters, house cleaners and more, couldn't come at a better time.  Many families are facing uncertain times with work and school due to COVID-19. This benefit could really help!

Sittercity is the leading online childcare solution, connecting families nationwide with babysitters & nannies that meet their unique needs. Sittercity is the largest and most trusted source for families to find local in-home caregivers quickly and easily.

The Department of Defense recently renewed their partnership with Sittercity in providing FREE premium memberships for Army, Marines, Navy, and Air Force families including active duty, Reserve, Guard, and surviving spouses.  The premium membership allows one to contact potential candidates.

This benefit is paid for by the DOD and is available through their Military OneSource service.  The announcement did not specifically announce Sittercity and the renewed partnership but the registration steps on Military OneSource direct users to the Sittercity website for registration.
