Veterans Airlift Command (VAC) is a nonprofit organization that provides free, private air transportation for post-9/11 combat-wounded veterans and their families. Through a nationwide network of volunteer pilots and aircraft owners, VAC helps ensure that these heroes can travel for medical care, family reunifications, and other critical needs, without the burden of commercial travel costs. Their mission is to offer a personal touch to the lives of wounded veterans, making it easier for them to access the support and connections that contribute to their healing and recovery.
