Whether you’re shopping for groceries, household essentials, clothing, baby products, or holiday gifts, Target’s military appreciation benefits can help your family save money and make everyday shopping more convenient.

Here’s everything you need to know about Target’s military discount program, who qualifies, and how to get started.

What Is Target Circle Military Appreciation?

Target Circle Military Appreciation is a special savings program designed to recognize and thank military members, veterans, and their families.

By joining Target Circle, Target’s free loyalty program, and verifying your military affiliation, eligible shoppers can access military-specific promotions and benefits.

One of the biggest year-round benefits is a discounted Target Circle 360 membership, which includes convenient shopping perks like free shipping, same-day delivery, monthly freebies, and early access to select sales.

Target also periodically offers additional military appreciation discounts around holidays such as Independence Day and Veterans Day.  Stay tuned for Veterans Day offers!

Target Circle 360 Military Discount: Save Over 50%

Eligible military members and families can save more than 50% on a Target Circle 360 membership.

Here’s how the military pricing compares to regular membership rates:

With the annual membership, military families save $50 per year compared to the regular price.

**The discounted membership is an ongoing benefit for verified eligible members, not just a limited-time Veterans Day promotion. It is important to note, if your eligibility changes or you no longer have a Target Circle Card saved to your account, your subscription will renew at the regular price of $99/year or $10.99/month.

What Are the Benefits of Target Circle 360?

Target Circle 360 is Target’s paid membership program, offering additional shopping conveniences and savings beyond its free Target Circle loyalty program.

Here’s what your membership includes:

1. Free, Fast Shipping

Enjoy free, fast shipping on hundreds of thousands of eligible items from Target.com, with some orders arriving as soon as the next day.

This can be especially helpful for military families who frequently shop online or live farther from a Target store.

2. Same-Day Delivery

Need groceries, household essentials, diapers, or last-minute supplies?

Target Circle 360 includes access to same-day delivery from Target and participating nearby retailers on eligible orders.

This convenient benefit can be particularly valuable for busy military families juggling deployments, work schedules, and family responsibilities.

Delivery availability, order minimums, and other restrictions apply.

3. Monthly Freebies and Exclusive Discounts

Who doesn’t love a freebie?

Target Circle 360 members can choose from a changing selection of monthly gifts and exclusive discounts.

New selections are introduced on the first of each month, giving members another opportunity to enjoy additional value from their membership.

4. Early Access to Major Sales

Target Circle 360 members receive early access to select sales events, special collaborations, and members-only merchandise.

This can be especially useful during major shopping events, including Target Circle Deal Days and seasonal holiday promotions.

5. Extra Time for Returns

Target Circle 360 members receive an additional 30 days to return eligible purchases.

That extra flexibility can be helpful when shopping for gifts, household products, or other everyday essentials.

Target’s Military Appreciation program is designed for eligible members of the military community, including:

• Active-duty military members
• Veterans

Is Target Circle Free?

Yes! Target Circle is Target’s free loyalty program, and you do not need a paid membership to participate.

However, there are two different membership options worth understanding:

Target Circle (FREE): Offers access to Target Circle deals, personalized offers, and rewards opportunities.

Target Circle 360 (PAID): Includes additional benefits such as free, fast shipping, same-day delivery, monthly freebies, early sale access, and extended returns.

Military members who qualify for the discounted Target Circle 360 rate can enjoy these premium benefits for just $49 annually or $4.99 monthly.

Does Target Offer a Military Discount on Purchases?

In addition to its year-round Target Circle 360 membership discount, Target periodically offers special military appreciation promotions on qualifying purchases.

These offers have historically been available around Independence Day and Veterans Day.

However, Target does not currently advertise a blanket year-round military discount on all purchases. Promotional discounts, redemption limits, and qualifying products vary by offer.

We recommend verifying your military status in advance so you’re ready to take advantage of military appreciation promotions when they become available. Stay tuned for an announcement surrounding Veterans Day as they have offered a discount surrounding this timeframe.
