First Baptist Church Norfolk

We are a gathering of people who seek to Love God, Love Others and Live the Mission. We exist to glorify God by winning and leading all the people within our reach to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

We believe that everyone needs a relationship with God by accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and seeking His forgiveness for sin. You can read more about this relationship here.

We meet together to worship at 6 different times each weekend. 

• Sunday mornings, 8:00 am, 9:30 am, 11:00 am (312 Kempsville Rd.)
  and 12:30 pm at the Cross Roads Center

• Hispanic Fellowship (Spanish speaking), Sunday afternoon at 1:00 pm, Worship Center

• onetwentyseven worship gathering for the 18-30 year old population, Sunday 9:30 at the Cross Roads Center  (For directions to Cross Roads click here)

Preschool: Do you have a preschooler- ages birth through Kindergarten?  Our Preschool ministry provides these little ones with a loving environment filled with hands on learning experiences. Check in at the Preschool Welcome Desk on the first floor. Need more Information?

Children: Children in grades 1st through 5th will join us each Sunday in a grade level LIFEgroup where they will have friendly, nurturing teachers who will encourage them to study the Bible and apply it to their lives. They’ll meet new kids and make new friends!  Check in at the Children’s Welcome desk on the Second Floor.  Need more Information?

Students:  Student Ministry is for our teenagers (Grades 6-12). Each week 6th-12th grade students gather together to discover God’s plan for their life.  Check in on third floor in Room 300. Need more Information?

LIFEgroups are the small group ministry at First Baptist Norfolk. Being a part of a LIFEgroup willconnect you with a group of friends who care for each other, and together grow in their faith through Bible Study and Fellowship.

Meet the Pastor

Most Sundays, we have a Guest Reception following the 9:30 and 11am services. Stop by and meet our Pastor.  If you have questions, or would like to talk about some other decision, our Ministry staff will be there to help.
