Welcome to Lake Taylor School, a grade K to 8 educational experience! The faculty, staff, and administration are committed to providing students a world class education. After many months of preparation, we are now officially The Lake Taylor School Titans and will excitedly serve students in Kindergarten through Eighth grade. We are eager to begin watching our student's growth from elementary level to middle school as they prepare to enter high school. It is a privilege to be a part of their educational, social, and personal journey! Our instructional program provides all students with academic development in reading, writing, mathematics, science, and history. Middle School students can enjoy elective course work in art, technology, foreign language (Spanish), band, chorus, and orchestra. Students who are ready for more challenging programs of study may enroll in high school credit-bearing courses, such as Algebra I, Geometry, Environmental Science, World Geography, Keyboarding, Introduction to Art, Technology Foundations, and Spanish. Extra-curricular activities are also enjoyable opportunities for students. Lake Taylor provides students with a variety of clubs and organizations as well as a comprehensive athletic program. As part of the Middle School Athletic Association of Virginia, students participate in competitive sports throughout the school year. We look forward to serving and working alongside parents, students, and the community at large as we strive to ensure that every child’s school experience is a successful and a positive part of a life-long learning experience.
