Meg graduated cum laude from Bridgewater State University in Bridgewater, Massachusetts in 2009 with a BS in Elementary Education, a BA in History, and an M.Ed in Special Education. She focused her Master’s thesis work on autism treatments assessments.
Since 2009, Meg has specialized in educating military children and students with special needs. Meg is currently certified in special education and general education in both Virginia and Massachusetts. She has experience in general education, inclusive elementary classrooms, special education, academic intervention, and personalized tutoring.
Meg has expertise in reading, understanding, and interpreting IEPs and education plans. She has extensive experience implementing technology and art integration programs in the classroom. Finally, Meg is adept in helping families who move frequently to minimize the challenges students face when starting a new school or understanding new curriculum standards. She can work with schools to help them adapt programs to meet the needs of special education students or military-dependent children.
