Owned and operated by the Moretti family, YROC’s roots go back to the west coast when restaurateur Bryce Moretti opened his first seaside sports bar in Oceanside, California. In 2019, the Moretti’s relocated to Virginia, purchasing York River Oyster Company, a storied location formerly known as River’s Inn and other restaurants dating back to the early 1960s. Over the next few years YROC Coastal Bar & Grill was born, now recognized throughout Virginia and voted “Best Restaurant” in Coastal Virginia in 2024. Today, YROC Coastal Bar & Grill blends local and coastal favorites with a flare.
