Healing Household 6 is a proud recipient of the 2019 Congressional Medal of Honor Society Community Service Hero Award for the unique services provided to our nations wounded, ill, and injured families.
Our team consists of caregivers, veterans, widows, and active duty spouses with unique experiences throughout all military branches to provide our clients and peer support group members during their most stressful life events. We take pride in the discrete services we offer for families during times of crisis, and we are thankful that we are entrusted to assist their families through sensitive situations.
Our volunteers are committed to a variety of efforts that impact the wellbeing of our nation’s bravest families. These topics include family/relationship violence, marital discord, parenting after combat, food insecurity, spouse employment and licensure barriers, suicide prevention/intervention, TBI and CTE education/treatment, substance abuse, veteran benefits, and Veteran Treatment Courts.
We serve on a variety of committees that enhance our collaborative efforts to meet the needs of family’s past, present, and future.
