Nansemond Parkway Elementary School’s purpose is to challenge and guide all students to achieve higher levels of academic performance through its innovative teaching staff and strong parent volunteers. Fostering a safe and nurturing environment conducive to learning is the school’s driving force. Contributing to the overall success of Nansemond Parkway are nine Partners-in-Education — Golden Corral, Suffolk Fire and Rescue Station No. 10, Lifetouch, United for Children, and the Suffolk Sheriff’s Office. This strong partnership program provides academic tutors, mentors for at-risk students, field trips, career day speakers, technological support, and special assembly programs.
