The primary goal of Valor Ranch is to reintegrate SHEROES (female veterans) back into the Civilian world by providing them with a safe place to heal, while advocating and empowering them to lead a healthy, happy life beyond their military service.
Valor Ranch in Decatur, Texas, provides a safe and supportive environment for female veterans, also known as “SHEROes.” Their mission is to help these women reconnect, heal, and grow by offering up to 12 months of residence in individual cottages, where they participate in holistic programs. These include equine-assisted workshops, group and individual therapy, life skills training, and community service.
The Ranch fosters a sense of sisterhood, helping women veterans regain confidence and direction after their military service. Activities like cooking, gardening, and caring for animals play a significant role in the rehabilitation process. Their wraparound support services ensure that each resident and her family receive tailored assistance, focusing on strengths and personal goals.
Valor Ranch is dedicated to empowering SHEROes to rewrite their stories and transition smoothly into the next chapter of their lives, with a deep commitment to mutual respect and support.
